On Saturday, April 27, 2019, the HCN crew traveled to historic Houston, MS for the 38th Annual Flywheel Festival.
Tractors, flywheels, Bluegrass and beautiful weather made this year’s festival fun for all and an event to remember.
There were over sixty vendors from all over the surrounding area. Sean Johnson, Executive Director – Houston, Miss. – Where the Trail meets the Trace, stated, ” There were a lot of changes this year, such as the Bluegrass Music Showcase. We have more plans to expand and are excited about moving forward.”
Stay tuned to Hill Country Happenings this week to see our video recordings for the festival, including our interview with Larry Davis at the Chickasaw County Heritage Museum and with the Civil War reenactment group.
