Secretary of State’s Office Buildings Temporarily Closed to the Public

Jackson, Miss. – In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office will be closed to the general public until further notice, effective at 2 p.m. on March 17, 2020. Our office will continue providing first class service to all Mississippians by responding to emails, answering calls, and guiding them through our online resources.

“We care deeply about the health and safety of all Mississippians, as well as our staff” said Secretary Michael Watson. “Our mission is to provide the highest level of customer service, and that effort will continue during this unique and challenging time.”
